Kevin Schwartz
Wranglers Founder Kevin Schwartz brings over 17 years of hockey experience to the organization. Schwartz has been involved with the game at various levels including playing, coaching, and management. He played his minor hockey in Chicago, Las Vegas and Eugene before joining the Eugene Thunder Junior B team during the inaugural season of the NORPAC.
While in College, Schwartz founded the Western Illinois University Ice Hockey Program and served as the Team’s President and GM as well as the on-ice Captain. After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation and Sports Management, he was employed by the Peoria Rivermen of the AHL as a Group Sales Executive/Game Operations Assistant.
In 2006 he was asked to return to Western Illinois University as Head Coach and General Manager of the hockey program. Schwartz now resides in the Rogue Valley with his wife Amber and their four pets.
