Wranglers Sign First Player for Upcoming Season
Wranglers GM, Kevin Schwartz announced today that the Wranglers have signed Lake City, Minnesota resident, Robert Reiber to a tender, which guarantees him a spot on the opening night roster. Reiber, 17, is the first player to be offered a spot on the Wranglers Inaugural Season roster. Originally from Medford, OR, Robert and his family moved to Minnesota to pursue his passion for hockey.
Last season Robert recorded 9 goals and 17 assists for the Redwing High School Varsity Team. “I am very excited to be coming into this organization as the first tendered player, and to be making the jump to the next level in my hockey career” said Reiber. “I am also honored to be a part of Wranglers history as the first player ever to sign with the new franchise.” The Wranglers were able to evaluate Robert’s playing ability in Las Vegas at the Global Scouting Camp this past June. “We are thrilled to have a player like Robert coming back to the Rogue Valley, he has already shown his level of dedication to the team and willingness to work hard towards his goals” said Kevin Schwartz. The Wranglers look to add two more players to the list of tenders in the upcoming days.
