Wranglers Sweep Lakers at Home

Clay LewisOut to prove that Friday night’s win was no fluke, Rogue Valley won again against Coeur D’ Alene Saturday night, sweeping the series here at home with a final score of 7-4.

Nick Cafrelli played again in net, and had only three goals passed him going into the waning minutes of the game, facing a total of 65 shots. “Nick stood on his head out there; he was amazing to watch that game,” head coach Kevin Schwartz said.

The Wranglers, (2-25) posted the highest score in franchise history, led by Nate Schursky (five points) and Clayton Lewis (three points). “Our second line was our bread-and-butter this weekend, and Nate looked like the ‘Schursky of old’ tonight,” said coach Ouldhouse.

“Our offense was firing  on all cylinders tonight,” head Coach Kevin Schwartz said. “Put that together with Nick’s stellar play in net and there you have the recipe for tonight’s victory.”

When asked about the weekend, assistant coach Dan Switalla said “Two victories this weekend, that’s a winning streak! It feels good; the boys earned it and I’m proud of them.”
