Dan Switalla
The Wranglers will bring back Assistant Coach Dan Switalla for his second year of service with the team. This year, however, he will be taking over the position of Player Scouting Director along with his Assistant Coaching duties.
Dan Switalla, a Chicago native graduated from Western Illinois University with a Degree in Recreation and Sports Management in 2007. Dan played AAA youth hockey in the Chicago area before playing Junior B for the former Nevada Rattlers of the WSHL.
Switalla played under Wranglers General Manager Kevin Schwartz at Western Illinois University during college. He sustained an injury during his senior year which put him on the bench for the majority of the season; at which time he began helping the team as an Assistant Coach.
